Microsoft Gaming head Phil Spencer is not going to resign: rumours of his departure are untrue
Following the announcement of Microsoft has started a new wave of layoffs in Xbox divisions, which will affect the gaming division in no small part, a rumour has emerged that the post of Xbox head Phil Spencer may be leaving.

This information was first announced by insider GhostOfHope, who stated that Phil Spencer will leave the company after the launch of the next-generation Xbox console, and his place will allegedly be taken by Xbox president Sarah Bond.

However, Xbox head of communications Kari Perez denied the information in a comment to The Verge.
She noted that Spencer has no plans to leave his post just yet, and that "some elements of the rumours were made up". But the question remains: what elements of the rumours were not made up? ...
