Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is shown in live photos for the first time: thinner, lighter and in a new Blue Shadow colour
Only a few days are left until the official premiere of Galaxy Z Fold7 at Samsung Unpacked on 9 July, and now it's time for the leaks to start pouring in. It started, of course, with Twitter. The images show a new Blue Shadow shade, an updated camera design and a record-setting slim profile.

The cameras are reminiscent of Galaxy Z Fold 6, but now they are surrounded by metal rings, and the LED flash has been moved lower. The Fold 7 is expected to be only 4.2mm thick when open and 8.9mm when folded. This makes it Samsung's thinnest foldable smartphone yet. The weight should also be reduced: 215 grams compared to 239 grams for the Fold 6.

What else is known about Galaxy Z Fold 7
The yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to feature an 8.2-inch main display and a 6.5-inch outer screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, support up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage, have a 4,400mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and run Android 16 with One UI 8. The new product promises to be the next answer to competitors in the premium folding device segment thanks to its lighter body and updated hardware.
When to expect it
The official presentation of Samsung Unpacked will take place on 9 July, where the Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and possibly the first Galaxy Flip FE and even the three-flap Samsung Galaxy G Fold smartphone (the name is tentative) should be presented.
