Motorola has launched a budget smartphone Moto G100 Pro with good specs for reasonable money
Motorola has unveiled an updated version of its mid-range smartphone, the Moto G100 Pro. The novelty debuted on the Chinese market and received a number of improvements over the original Moto G100 model, released in 2021.
Here's What We Know
The Moto G100 Pro features a 6.67″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4500 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and has an inbuilt fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset made using 4nm process technology. Available configurations with 8/12 GB of RAM and 256/512 GB of inbuilt storage.
Not bad autonomy will be provided by a 6720 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
The main camera includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle module. The front camera is 32MP.
The device is IP68 and IP69 certified and is also compliant with MIL-STD 810H military standard.
The Moto G100 Pro runs Android 15 with a proprietary Hello UI shell.
In the Chinese market, the smartphone is available in four colours; Pine Smoke Blue, Tundra Blue, Clouds Ink Black and Silk Purple. The prices range from $195 to $240 (in terms of RMB).
No global release date for the Moto G100 Pro has been announced yet, but the smartphone is expected to be available during July-August 2025, probably under a different name.
