Galaxy Watch 8, Classic and Ultra: specs and prices of Samsung's new smart watches revealed
Authoritative French insider and journalist billbil-kun revealed the detailed specifications and cost of three new models of Samsung smart watches expected in 2025.
Here's What We Know
The Korean manufacturer will soon unveil three watch models: the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra. The company has not yet revealed the details of the new gadgets, but thanks to its sources billbil-kun shared important details.
Galaxy Watch 8.
The base 2025 model will come in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm in graphite and silver colours. The watch will get an aluminium case, sapphire crystal and OLED displays measuring 1.34″ and 1.47″ respectively. The junior version will weigh around 30g, while the senior version will weigh around 34g.
Both versions will have 325 mAh (40mm) and 435 mAh (44mm) batteries. They will get 2GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt memory.
Suggested prices for France:
- 40mm: €380 for the Bluetooth version and €430 for LTE;
- 44mm: €410 (BT) and €460 (LTE).
Galaxy Watch 8 Classic
This model will come in a classic design with a steel case in black and white. The diagonal is 46 mm and weighs 64 g. The watch will get a rotating physical ring (bezel), a 1.34″ display, a 445 mAh battery, 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of inbuilt storage. It will come with a premium strap.
Suggested prices for France:
- Bluetooth version: €530;
- LTE version: €580.
Galaxy Watch Ultra.
The flagship model will get a titanium body, increased dimensions - 47 mm, weight - 60 g. For the first time - a square display at 1.5″, a battery of 590 mAh. Memory - 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt memory.
Buyers will be offered only LTE version for €700 in blue, grey, white and silver colours.
The watch is expected to be unveiled at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event, which will take place on 9 July at 16:00 (CEST).
