Authors of the indie game Dredge, which is remembered by gamers for its unusual combination of meditative gameplay and horror, inherent in the stories of Howard F. Lovecraft, have made some important news.
Here's What We Know
First of all, the developers from Black Salt Games announced that they have finished supporting Dredge, but they are not sitting idle, as they have already started creating a new game, which will be in no way connected with their debut work. The game designers will offer a brand new world, but are not yet ready to reveal details about the game, which is in the pre-production stage.
Black Salt Games has officially begun pre-production on our second game! With the team focused on our next journey, the development of DREDGE has officially wrapped up. Our next title won't be DREDGE 2 but will be exploring a brand new world that the team is eager to share more about in the future.

The company also announced the opening of another studio called Disc 2 Games. It is already working on its debut game and its style will be different from its colleagues from Black Salt Games - it will be a game in the spirit of the 90s, but with a modern approach.
The release date of this project is also unknown.
And we will remind you that the film company Story Kitchen together with the developers from Black Salt Games will film Lone Fisherman's Nightmares is coming to the big screens: a film adaptation of hit indie game Dredge has been announced.
