GoPro has officially released the first teaser of its new 360-degree camera, the GoPro Max 2. The images posted on the company's official X social media account show the camera with a prominent "Max 2" inscription on the body. The publication is accompanied by a short caption "Dropping", which hints at the upcoming launch of the device.

Here's What We Know

GoPro Max 2 is expected to be a serious competitor to models like Insta360 X5 and DJI Osmo 360. The previous version of the GoPro Max 2025 camera did not receive significant hardware updates, so the new product is expected to make significant improvements.

The presented photos show enlarged ventilation grilles on the front of the camera, which may indicate a more powerful filling. According to unofficial information, the GoPro Max 2 will support 8K shooting, larger sensors, and a faster processor. Improvements in battery life and software are also expected.

The official release date and full list of GoPro Max 2 features have not yet been announced.

The new GoPro Max (2025) has a starting price of $349. The previous model cost $499.99. It is already available for pre-order on the official GoPro website.

GoPro Max has received software innovations, including AI object tracking and CameraFX effects, which allow you to create dynamic videos without complicated editing. The Quik app will offer AI object tracking, which allows you to select an object and then the app will use artificial intelligence to keep that object in focus while you shoot.
