No remake yet: Square Enix celebrated the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy IX with a special trailer
In celebration of Final Fantasy IX's 25th anniversary, publisher Square Enix has released a celebratory video.

The authors reminded about the key moments of the plot of Final Fantasy IX, which is considered to be one of the best in the series. Viewers were shown several dramatic scenes with the main characters of the game - a young thief Zidane, Princess Garnet and Vivi.
As a reminder, Final Fantasy IX was first released on PlayStation (1) and later ported to PlayStation 4, Android, iOS, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.
For the past few years, Square Enix has been rumoured to be working on a remake of the iconic game and there is a possibility that the Japanese publisher will still announce one Square Enix has announced a massive 25th anniversary celebration for Final Fantasy IX: gamers are hoping for the announcement of a remake of the iconic JRPG, especially since the company itself has hinted at such a possibility.
