Users of Pixel smartphones are actively complaining about the problems that appeared after installing the stable version of Android 16.

Here's What We Know

On Reddit and Pixel forums, a large number of complaints are published, in which several major problems are most often mentioned, and they mainly concern the lock screen:

• One-touch activation stopped working;
• the screen does not switch on or switches on slowly after pressing the power button;
• the screen brightness changes constantly;
• the fingerprint scanner does not work correctly;
• some users report interface sluggishness and applications crashing.

Of course, the most common way to solve the problems is to reboot the device, but this time this solution helps for a few hours, after which the bugs return.

One of the Pixel experts suggested users to reset the adaptive brightness, but this doesn't help everyone either.

Google representatives confirmed that they are aware of the issues and are working on fixing them, but they can't yet say when they will be resolved.
