Nintendo Switch 2 is getting more expensive, but only in one country for now
The Nintendo Switch 2 gaming console only went on sale a month ago, but residents of one state will soon face a price hike.

Niko Partners journalist and analyst Daniel Ahmad pointed out that in Saudi Arabia, the Nintendo Switch 2 will soon be raised from $533 to $573 (in terms of reals).
The price of the Nintendo Switch 2 is increasing in Saudi Arabia due to changing global market conditions.

The Standalone SKU was SAR 1999 ($533) and will increase to SAR 2149 ($573).
Note. The console is distributed by Advanced Initiative Company, a third party distributor....
The difference isn't too big, but it does show a trend of Nintendo probing the ground in different regions by raising the price of its products. To recap, the company is already selling some games for $80, and in Canada last week, Only in Canada so far: Nintendo Switch consoles and Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions have gone up in price - will other countries be affected?, along with Nintendo Switch Online subscriptions and popular amiibo figurines.
Note that Nintendo Switch sales in Saudi Arabia are handled by a third-party Advanced Initiative Company, and it may have been the company that made the decision to raise the console's price, but it's possible that Nintendo will soon raise prices in other regions as well.
