11 bit studios pops the champagne: sales of The Alters have surpassed 280,000 copies
Developers from 11 bit studios revealed the first sales figures of the unusual sci-fi adventure game with survival elements The Alters, which was released on the 13th of June and Never seen before: The Alters surprised critics with unusual mechanics and deep story - the game from the creators of This War of Mine and Frostpunk received high marks and gamers.

Polish developers reported that sales of The Alters reached 280 thousand copies on all platforms.
This is an excellent result, because at first it seemed that due to the complicated concept the novelty will not be able to interest the general public, and those who still want to pass it, will prefer to do it on Xbox Game Pass subscription, but, as you can see, this forecast did not come true.
11 bit has once again released a superb game that breaks the boundaries and goes beyond the banal mechanics and plot stamps.

Flashback
In The Alters, engineer Jan Dolski finds himself alone on an uninhabited planet and in order to survive, he starts creating clones of himself. These "alters" will become the people Jan could have been if he had made one decision or another in his life. All the alters are irreplaceable professionals, their skills will be useful for solving the most difficult tasks, but they all have individual character, habits, psychological problems and views on life, so Ian will be difficult to find a common language with them, but it is necessary to survive.
In total, the gamer can create nine alters, who will be engaged not only in their professional duties, but also participate in forays to the surface of the planet.
