Media: Apple will release a budget iPhone 16e in spring 2026
The network has already reported that Apple plans to annually update the e-line of budget iPhone smartphones, continuing the trend set by the iPhone 16e. Today, another confirmation of this insider has appeared.

According to South Korean publication The Elec, the iPhone 17e will be released in spring 2026 and will be part of the main iPhone 17 lineup, which is expected to be unveiled in September.
No details about the next generation budget smartphone are not yet available, but it is expected that the novelty will get the same OLED panel as the iPhone 16e and iPhone 14. It is known that the iPhone 17 will be the first non-flagship model with a 120Hz refresh rate, but whether the e-model will have such a refresh rate is still hard to say.
