The budget Galaxy S25 FE sub-flagship has been spotted in its first live photo
Samsung held a big Galaxy Unpacked presentation today, where it unveiled the flagship foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Flip7 and budget Galaxy Flip7 FE, as well as three smartwatch models.
But a budget sub-flagship Galaxy S25 FE is expected to be released in autumn, and today another proof of its existence has appeared online.
Here's What We Know
A live photo of the Galaxy S25 FE smartwatch has been discovered on the website of the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) organisation.
On the site of Wireless Power Consortium there are no technical specifications of the gadget, but thanks to leaks and insiders we know that the Galaxy S25 FE will be much thinner than its predecessor: the thickness of the body will be reduced from 8 mm (Galaxy S24 FE) to 7.4 mm. This was achieved by using a flexible OLED panel instead of the traditional rigid one. The case dimensions will be 161.4 × 76.6 × 7.4 mm.
The Galaxy S25 FE will be powered by the Exynos 2400e chipset, although some regions may use versions with the regular Exynos 2400. The variants are expected to come with 8GB and 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone will come with One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. Samsung will offer up to 7 years of software updates.
The main camera includes three modules: 50 MP main sensor, 12 MP ultra-wide-angle and 8 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The front camera is 12 MP.
The Galaxy S25 FE will feature a 4700mAh battery with support for up to 45W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging.
Thus, the Galaxy S25 FE will be one of the thinnest smartphones in the lineup and will retain balanced specifications with long-term support for upgrades.
