SHODAN has made its way to consoles - System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary is available now on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch
Developers from Nightdive Studios have announced the release of System Shock 2 remaster on all modern consoles.
Here's What We Know
On PC System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster has been released - the iconic game is available in its best form and received excellent reviews from critics and gamers, but shortly before the event the developers reported that due to unforeseen difficulties they had to postpone the release of the game on PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
And now Nightdive Studios has released a release trailer, in which they announced that the game is already available on all of these platforms.
Unlike the highly praised remake of the first part, System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary is only a remaster and offers small improvements in graphics and visual effects, as well as adaptation of the game for modern platforms, while the authors did not make significant changes to gameplay mechanics, leaving them as close as possible to the original 1999.
Those who pre-ordered System Shock Remake (2023) will get System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster for free as a bonus.
