Insider: a Venom game from the makers of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 will be unveiled very soon and will be released in 2026
A few days ago it was reported that Insomniac Games studio is Is Marvel's Wolverine close to release? Insomniac Games is working on two unannounced titles besides Marvel's Wolverine.
We assumed that with a high probability one of them is a Venom game, hints about which developers Will Symbiote's career go up? Developers of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 do not rule out a separate Venom game in 2023, and today a well-known insider confirmed this theory.
Here's What We Know
The Detective Seeds insider, who often gives reliable information, has confirmed that Insomniac has not given up on the Venom game and plans to release it in 2026.
He believes that Marvel's Venom could be announced in September at another State of Play broadcast (possibly at PlayStation Showcase) or at The Game Awards big show in December 2025.
Should see Insomniac's Venom game either in the September event or they give it to Geoff to show at Game Awards. I believe @Middleagegamegy broke the release window already for 2026.

In any case, the Venom game will be a spin-off of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, in which players could already take control of the evil symbiote in one of the episodes. It is likely that the gameplay of Marvel's Venom will be similar to what we could see in the said game.
