Fans of city-building strategies will soon get a potentially interesting novelty, and even in a non-standard for video games setting.

Here's What We Know

Polish studio Play2Chill announced that on the 28th of August city-building simulator Aztecs: The Last Sun will start in Steam Early Access.

The events of the game unfold in the XIII-XVI centuries in the lands of the Aztec Empire.

The player will take the role of the ruler of the state Tenochtitlan, which was located on an island in the middle of Lake Texcoco. Its geographical location will significantly complicate the development of the economy and technological capabilities, and only the player's actions will depend on whether it will be possible to overcome the difficulties, feed the people, build colossal buildings, develop culture and be able to fight back the enemies.

Of course, you will not do without human sacrifices, which were an integral part of Aztec culture.

Aztecs: The Last Sun will be in Early Access for about a year and will be replenished with new content.

Everyone who is interested in the strategy, can already get acquainted with its demo in Steam.
