Skoda Enyaq now has a commercial version of the Cargo
The British division of Skoda has unveiled a new variant of the Enyaq electric crossover - the Cargo commercial version, developed in co-operation with conversion specialists Strongs Plastic Products. The novelty is aimed exclusively at corporate customers and will be available through regional fleet managers.
Here's What We Know
The Enyaq Cargo is officially classed as a light commercial vehicle (LCV) and was originally commissioned by National Grid Energy Distribution (NGED). It received 70 of these vehicles in 2024 and plans to continue replacing its aging fleet. NGED already operates over 300 electric vans and 600 electric vehicles, making it one of the largest corporate EV operators in the UK.
The Cargo is based on the Enyaq 85 and four-wheel drive Enyaq 85x models. The business version gets a redesigned interior and a safety-compliant cargo area made from strong and lightweight plastics. A rigid partition is installed between the cab and the cargo area, and the interior configuration can be customised to meet specific customer needs.

Strongs worked with Skoda UK and the Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) on the design to ensure full compliance with commercial requirements. The model offers a range of up to 359 miles (578 kilometres) WLTP and supports DC fast charging of up to 135kW or 175kW (depending on modification).
It is Skoda's first all-electric commercial model to be offered in a series configuration. The Enyaq Edition 85 passenger version starts at £44,310 in the UK, with conversion costing a minimum of £1,815 excluding VAT. The final price depends on the configuration.
