At the Goodwood Festival of Speed, Honda showed a concept of a small Super EV electric car, which will turn into a production model called N-ONE e: very soon. The five-door A-Class hatchback could celebrate a full-fledged premiere in September at the IAA Mobility motor show in Munich.

Here's What We Know

After the UK show, Honda published the first teaser without camouflage and confirmed the name of the production version. The image shows the front of the car in the style of Japanese kei-cars with round LED headlights. In addition to the charging port on the left side, a second port on the right side is also visible - its purpose remains unknown for now.

The concept is reminiscent of a miniature version of the Nissan Cube: it has a short bonnet, convex wheel arches, a windscreen that is not strongly sloped and an almost flat roof. All this points to compactness and functionality.

Honda notes that the model is designed to demonstrate how an A-segment urban electric car can combine driving pleasure with the brand's signature practicality. In addition, the manufacturer has confirmed that testing of the concept has already taken place in the UK as part of a global programme.

In addition to the compact EV, Honda brought to Goodwood a prototype of the 0 SUV electric crossover, the EV Fun electric motorbike, the EV Urban electric scooter, the new Prelude as well as the Miimo robotic lawnmower. Among other things, a Honda-powered Williams FW11 car was also spotted at the festival, as well as a special Civic Type R Ultimate Edition.
