Samsung Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra camera details are online
New details about the Samsung Galaxy S26 series of smartphones, which is expected to make its official debut in January 2026, have emerged online. According to the leak, the lineup will consist of three models: Galaxy S26, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra - the Plus version will allegedly be completely cancelled.
Here's What We Know
This information is partially confirmed by the leaked code names of the devices: NPA1, NPA2 and NPA3. They stand for "next paradigm" or "new paradigm". For comparison, the Galaxy S25 line used the designation simply "paradigm".
As for the cameras, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 200MP main sensor, probably a new large module from Sony. The Ultra will also have a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
The Galaxy S26 Edge will feature a 50MP ultra-wide camera, while the base Galaxy S26 model will probably not receive any improvements over its predecessor.
The source claims that all this data is taken from open databases that can be linked to Samsung and its suppliers, so the leak is supposedly more reliable than the usual rumours. However, there is no official confirmation yet.
