Today will be the release of stealth-adventure Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, which will be the debut game for River End Games studio.

The novelty has long attracted the attention of gamers with its excellent visual style and intriguing plot, and the scores and reviews left by critics confirm that the game turned out great and may even become one of the most interesting releases of 2025.

Here's What We Know

The average score of Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream on aggregators is about 80 points.

Critics note that the authors managed to offer an exciting plot, which arouses interest from the first minutes and maintains it until the end credits. This is facilitated by excellent audio-visual presentation with many staged scenes, and the steampunk aesthetics emphasise the unusual atmosphere of the city, which is on the verge of disaster.

As for the gameplay, the developers also enriched it with non-standard mechanics, which, as critics noted, make Eriksholm a very unusual tactical stealth game. Locations turned out to be interesting and memorable, and AI of enemies makes the player to think over his actions carefully.

Of course, Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream has a number of drawbacks, for example, uncomfortable camera, but they don't spoil the impression from the passage and critics stated that the novelty is a perfect example of a debut game.
