FromSoftware Studios will release experimental online action game The Duskbloods in 2026, which will be a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive. However, the famous Japanese developer may surprise fans with another game - claims a reputable source.

Here's What We Know

Well-known insider and dataminer Kurakasis has published a new exclusive on MP1st, in which he revealed that FromSoftware is close to finalising the unannounced game and plans to release it in 2026.

Kurakasis mentions that the project is codenamed FMC and is a multi-platform game, which rules out the possibility that this is The Duskbloods we're talking about.

The insider has no further information, but he cited FromSoftware's list of game codenames and stated that the "F" projects belong to two series: Dark Souls and Armored Core.

  • Dark Souls 2 - FRPG2
  • Dark Souls 3 - FDP
  • Dark Souls Remastered - FHD
  • Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice - NTCG and NTC
  • Bloodborne - SPRJ
  • Elden Ring - GR
  • Armoured Core VI - FNR
  • Elden Ring: Nightreign - CL.

However, recall that in the autumn of 2024, insider Nick Baker stated that FromSoftware is developing a Dark Souls 3 remaster for modern platforms. Perhaps FMC is this particular remaster. This game isn't technically obsolete from 2016, but it's unlikely that fans would turn down the opportunity to run it with improved graphics, in 4K resolution and at 60 FPS.

As for Armored Core, there are even fewer specifics. The last game in the series - Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon - was released in 2023, but there is a possibility that FMC is a small spin-off, which often came out after the release of the big numbered parts.
