The S-series from Samsung traditionally demonstrates high sales, and Ultra models are always among the leaders of the flagship smartphone segment in the global market. In 2025, Samsung managed to further strengthen its position due to the global reach and high demand for the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Here's What We Know

As of May 2025 data, Samsung has sold 8.39 million Galaxy S25 Ultra. In comparison, total sales of similar flagships from Chinese brands totalled around 1 million units, specifically:

  • Xiaomi 15 Ultra - 586,000 million
  • Vivo X200 Ultra - 219,000 million
  • OPPO Find X8 Ultra - about 210,000 million.

Thus, the S25 Ultra beat all three Chinese models combined by almost eight times!

This leadership of Samsung is due to the fact that although Chinese flagships often offer advanced features, such as large camera sensors and batteries of 6,000 mAh and above at a relatively low price - most of them remain exclusive to the Chinese market. This limits their availability outside of China, where Samsung is actively working with operators, developing logistics and offering full service.

In addition, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is available in many countries immediately after launch. It has extensive marketing support and a strong dealer network, which allows Samsung to maintain its leadership in the premium segment.

To summarise, the Galaxy S25 Ultra has become the best-selling Ultra smartphone in the world and there is virtually no one else competing with it today.
