Bloggers will love the Vivo X300 Pro: an insider has revealed the new flagship's impressive camera specs
Soon fans of smartphones with powerful cameras will have a new favourite: Vivo is preparing to release a new flagship X300 Pro, which will be able to compete with the top new products of its class in terms of photo and video shooting quality, including unrevealed iPhone 17 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Here's What We Know
A reputable Chinese insider Digital Chat Station has shared exclusive information about the Vivo X300 Pro's camera module and things are looking impressive.
According to the insider, the smartphone will get a triple module that includes:
- 50MP main camera with Sony LYT-828 sensor (1/1.28″, 1.22µm pixels), Hybrid Frame-HDR support and ZEISS T coating to minimise glare;
- a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens that's ideal for landscapes and group photos;
- a 200MP periscopic telephoto camera with a 1/1.4″ sensor, macro capability and advanced optics.

What makes the Sony LYT-828 sensor special is its dynamic range of over 100dB, which is even better than the 1″ LYT900. This is achieved through Hybrid Frame-HDR technology, which combines single-frame and multi-frame HDR.
It is also known that the X300 Pro will get a flagship (yet to be unveiled) MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor with an ARM Cortex-X930 core and built-in Immortalis-Drage graphics, as well as a 7000mAh battery, which will be a record for the Vivo lineup and a 6.8″ flat screen with a resolution of 2800×1260 pixels.
The Vivo X300 Pro is expected to be officially unveiled in October.
