ASUS to launch 32-inch 6K ProArt Display for $1299 at the end of August
ASUS is preparing to launch its 32-inch ProArt Display PA32QCV 6K monitor at the end of August.
Here's What We Know
The new product has a resolution of 6016 × 3384 pixels, Delta E>2 colour accuracy, 98% DCI-P3 colour space coverage, and a density of 218 pixels per inch. ASUS calibrates each screen at the factory for maximum accuracy, and there is a special P3 profile for Mac users to ensure correct colour reproduction.
For Mac owners, the display works with the ASUS DisplayWidget Centre utility, which allows you to quickly change brightness, contrast and colour temperature. The brightness can also be adjusted with a regular button on the Mac.
ProArt Display supports HDR10 and VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification, which guarantees bright whites and deep blacks with good contrast. Built-in sensors automatically adjust brightness and colour depending on the lighting in the room. In addition, LuxPixel anti-glare technology reduces glare without compromising picture quality.
The display supports Auto KVM, which allows you to control two computers, such as a Mac and a PC, with one keyboard and mouse. There are Thunderbolt 4 ports with up to 96W of charging power, which allows you to charge laptops, including MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. In addition, there is HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-A, USB-C, an audio port and an additional USB-C for connecting other devices. There are built-in speakers, but no webcam.
ASUS plans to start selling the ProArt Display PA32QCV at the end of August for $1299.
