The British company Bo Mobility, founded by former Formula 1 engineers, has unveiled an experimental electric scooter Bo Turbo - a track monster with two motors with a total power of 24,000 watts and a 1,800Wh battery.

Here's What We Know

In tests at Goodwood, the scooter accelerated to almost 140 kilometres per hour. In the coming months, Bo Mobility plans to record a new world speed record for scooters in an official track session, with the aim of breaking the psychological mark of 160 km/h.

At the heart of the Turbo is a twin-engine racing-class powertrain, providing a power density higher than that of the Bugatti Veyron. The scooter is equipped with active cooling (ram-air, as in F1), Safesteer system, four-piston disc brakes Hope V4 and reinforced aluminium frame - all this is transferred from the platform of serial Bo M, but pumped to the limit.

The project was created not as an "every day" vehicle, but as a demonstration of engineering capabilities. Its goal is not just to amaze with speed, but to demonstrate how far micromobility can go, if you remove all the restrictions from the way.

The price of this pleasure is corresponding - from $29,500, limited edition to order, and buyers will have to pass the selection and prove driving experience. The first copies will be shown at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Madrid in 2026.
