EA's Suitcase has revealed the title of the new Battlefield instalment and hinted at the launch of the advertising campaign
Electronic Arts has promised a full unveiling of the new Battlefield instalment before the end of the summer and it looks like some sort of major event will take place in the coming weeks.
Here's What We Know
Insider Tom Henderson drew attention to the post of one of the bloggers, which has already been deleted, but the experienced journalist managed to take a screenshot. The user under the nickname Doom49 reported that he received a certain set from EA and presented a photo of it. The set looks like a case with the inscription Battlefield 6. Thus, it is confirmed that this is the name and will receive a new shooter from the studio DICE.
The case in the photo is wrapped with tape with the names of game modes: Conquest, Rush and Breakthrough.
Henderson believes that "Doom49 received his bundle ahead of schedule (presumably it was supposed to arrive on Monday), and his accompanying restriction (embargo) letter either didn't specify when the package could be discussed, or he simply didn't bother to read it."
Insider Gaming journalist suggests that since the developer has started sending out such bundles to bloggers and journalists, we should expect a massive Battlefield 6 presentation in the next 2-3 weeks.
