Stellar Blade's Twitter account has been hacked and is now promoting cryptocurrencies: don't click anything
Cybercriminals do not sleep, and this time, Shift Up, the developer of the hit game Stellar Blade, has fallen victim. The game's official Twitter account has been hacked and is currently actively promoting a cryptocurrency fraud scheme.
Here's What We Know
The game's director, Hyung-Tae Kim, has already addressed fans on his personal social media, urging them not to interact with any posts appearing on the hacked page.
"Please note that the official @StellarBlade account on X is currently hacked. Please be careful not to click on any links or participate in any promotions that may be posted there. We are working to resolve the issue. Thank you for your understanding."
He later added additional information, explaining that the fraudulent page promoted by the compromised account is in no way affiliated with Stellar Blade or Shift Up.
So, if you follow Stellar Blade's social media account or accidentally come across the said unofficial cryptocurrency page, please do not click on the link. This is not a genuine promotion, and you risk losing your funds.
Shift Up is already working to regain control of the account, but for now, the best way to protect yourself is to ignore any questionable posts originating from this page.
