Lenovo announces Watch Pro - a smartwatch with zinc-magnesium alloy for only $70

Lenovo is releasing a fitness bracelet in the form of the Watch Pro, which really has a reason to be called Pro. Zinc-magnesium alloy, full-fledged AlwaysOn, and a huge set of features for just $70!

- 1.43-inch round AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466×466 pixels (~326 PPI), Crystal Diamond Glass protective glass
- Always-On mode.
- Body made of zinc-magnesium alloy
- 3 ATM water resistance - you can swim or wash your hands without risk
- Health and fitness: more than 70 sports modes, automatic activity tracking
- Heart rate monitoring, SpO₂, sleep and stress analysis, and breathing exercise recommendations.
- Battery and autonomy
- Up to 20 days of use in light mode - and about 18 days in normal use, according to Lenovo.
- Smart features: built-in SOS mode, a set of applications (weather, calculator, calendar, flashlight). Support for mobile payments, but only via WeChat Pay and Alipay.
Price and availability
In China, the starting price is CNY 499 (~$70) at the time of launch. Currently, there is no information that Lenovo plans to enter global markets.
Bottom line.
Lenovo Watch Pro offers the perfect balance: a stylish AMOLED display, adequate battery life, Always-On, health tracking - and all for about $70. It's hard to find a reason not to buy it in China, except for the lack of service support in the world.
