Motorola upgrades G86 - now 6720 mAh and Dimensity 7400

Motorola has confirmed that the Moto G86 Power 5G will officially launch in India on 30 July 2025. It is a close relative of the global version of the Moto G86 5G, but has slightly improved specifications.
Key features of the Moto G86 Power 5G
- Chipset: MediaTek Dimensity 7400 (the global version is based on 7300, both have 4+4 cores, but the 7400 has a 100Hz higher frequency)
- Display: 6.67″ curved p-OLED, 2712×1220 (~1.5K), 10-bit, 120 Hz, HDR10+, peak brightness up to 4500 nits, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i
- Battery: 6720mAh powerful battery pack with 30W fast charging (global version has 5200mAh)
- Memory: 8GB LPDDR4x + choice of 128/256GB storage with microSD support
- Cameras: 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main with OIS, 8 MP ultra-wide-angle, 32 MP front shooter
- Protection: IP68/IP69, military standard MIL-STD-810H, Gorilla Glass 7i glass
- Design: artificial leather on the back, weight 198 g, thickness 8.65 mm
- Software/functions: Android 15, built-in scanner in the display, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, USB-C audio, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, Dual SIM
Overall, this is a successful and balanced model, which has even better specifications for the local Indian market. Unfortunately, no official prices have been announced yet, at least until 30 July, when the sales are scheduled to start. As you can see, manufacturers can produce even more interesting models for the local markets of India and China than for the global market.
