It seems that Realme has decided to change its strategy - GT 8 and GT 8 Pro may debut in October 2025, unlike in previous years when the Pro version was released much earlier.

Shared flagship features
Both devices will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850), Qualcomm's top-of-the-line chip with an expected performance boost of ≈26% in AnTuTu compared to its predecessor. Both will have a large battery (~7000 mAh) and 100W charging.
GT 8 Pro will additionally receive
- 6.85″ flat 2K OLED display (Samsung's special anti-glare coating, similar to S25 Ultra)
- 200 MP periscope (possibly Samsung HP9) for zoom
- Metal frame, IP protection, ultrasonic scanner in the display,
- Realme UI7/Android 16
- Better cameras (presumably - only Pro will have a telephoto module)
Bottom line.
For some unknown reason, Realme is accelerating the release of its sub-flagship. Perhaps this is a purely technical feature and the production process allows for faster production, or perhaps it's a marketing initiative to avoid splitting attention. Either way, buyers will have a choice right away.
