Silent Hill will be many: insider reveals Konami's plans for new games in the series
Konami has stepped up the development of the Silent Hill franchise and, following the release of the excellent remake of the second instalment of the series in autumn 2024, aims to release one new game every year or at short intervals.
Silent Hill f, which will take fans of the franchise to 60s Japan for the first time, will be released as early as September, and a Dusk Golem insider has revealed the release order of the next two horror titles.
Here's What We Know
On 12 June, studio Bloober Team confirmed that it is developing a remake of the first Silent Hill, and according to Dusk Golem it won't have to wait too long. He claims that the game has been in development for three years and is scheduled for release in 2027.
And in 2026, gamers will get Silent Hill: Townfall, an experimental game that was announced in 2022. It is being developed by the authors of Observation and Stories Untold, which only yesterday announced a name change and now it is not No Code, but Screen Burn.
The developers aim to reimagine Silent Hill and offer players an unconventional look at the familiar horror game
But that's not all, Dusk Golem is confident that Konami will release another Silent Hill game in 2028, which they are developing independently.
(2/2) places as an example, honestly good on Konami not just rushing them out giving them time to cook), but right now if I had to guess based on the current situation it'd be;
