Xiaomi has officially unveiled the updated TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen), a compact streaming device that plugs directly into the HDMI port of your TV. The novelty runs on Google TV, not Android TV like its predecessor, and has received a noticeably more powerful stuffing and improved multimedia capabilities.

Here's What's New About It

The main update is the move to a modern chip with a 4-core Cortex-A55 and ARM G310 V2 graphics. Xiaomi promises performance about 80% better than the previous generation, which is especially important for smooth UI, app switching and video playback.

The gadget gets 2GB of RAM, 8GB of inbuilt storage, support for 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and audio with Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD. The device also features HDMI 2.1 and Micro USB ports, dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, which speeds up content downloads and improves connection stability. It's all packed into a compact body, measuring 107.4 x 30 x 14mm and weighing 44g.

On international marketplaces the novelty is already on sale - the price ranges from $45 to $65 depending on the region and seller.
