Garmin Instinct 3 fixes bugs in heart rate monitor and game modes
Garmin has begun rolling out beta version 10.19 for its Instinct 3 AMOLED, Instinct 3 Solar, and Instinct E smartwatches. This update fixes several bugs that have been bothering users.
Here's What We Know
The manufacturer has fixed bugs in heart rate measurement and removed unnecessary GameOn Broadcast and SpeedPro settings for activities where they are not needed. GameOn is needed by gamers to see their performance during the game, and SpeedPro is used in windsurfing to accurately measure speed.
Another important fix is that the watch now connects more stably to Garmin inReach satellite trackers. Previously, some users complained about connection problems. In addition, for the Instinct 3 AMOLED and Instinct 3 Solar models, a bug in Golf Autoshot, a feature that registers strokes during golf, has been fixed.
According to Garmin, the update is already available for about 20% of users and is installed automatically via the Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express app. A week ago, the company released version 10.18, which fixed bugs in the flashlight and Backcountry Skiing and Jump Rope modes.
It is not yet known when version 10.19 will be available to all Instinct 3 and Instinct E owners.
