Galaxy S26 Ultra can get a battery of more than 5000 mAh
While Chinese manufacturers, who are not heavily constrained by certifications, have long since switched to silicon-carbon batteries, providing users with 6000 mAh and even more, AAA manufacturers still have problems with this. This is a really important problem, because modern processors can consume charge very quickly. It's clear that there will be no parity with Chinese phones as long as there are restrictions on the transportation of devices with batteries, but Samsung is doing everything it can.
What the new rumours say
The new rumours claim that the S26 Ultra may get a 5,500mAh battery - an increase of about 10% over the S25 Ultra. It should be understood that this is unconfirmed information - another informant (UniverseIce) previously claimed that the battery would remain at 5,000 mAh. Rumours also claim that despite the possible larger battery, the Galaxy S26 may even have a thinner body - 7.9 mm instead of 8.2.

Users, however, do not consider such an increase sufficient against the background of competitors from China. Just keep in mind that Samsung, Apple, and other major manufacturers must comply with laws to be officially sold in Europe and the United States. These restrictions are not unreasonable, because a large amount of concentrated energy is fraught with serious danger. Who better to know about the potential risks than Samsung with their Note7? However, the pressure that the Chinese are already creating will likely lead to these bans falling soon
What about charging?
The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to receive 65W wired charging, which will be a significant increase, because since 2020, Samsung has been using the fastest charging at 45W. Wireless charging will also be pleased with an increase of up to 25W according to the Qi2 standard.
It is also worth mentioning that the Galaxy S26 line may receive Samsung's own Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2.
