Magic of numbers - Geekbench results of the flagship Exynos 2600 have been leaked
A Geekbench synthetic benchmark result with the likely results of the upcoming Samsung Exynos 2600 flagship processor has appeared on the web. The numbers on the screenshot are upsetting. 2155 in the single-core test and 7788 in the multi-core test is frankly not much for the company's most powerful processor.

To put it in perspective, the performance of the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 is over 4000 in the single-core and 11000 in the multi-core test. This is even lower than the Exynos 2500 in the Galaxy Z Flip7 (~2,300 / 8,070).
This may be the result of an early engineering sample and the situation will change after the product is brought to a commercial state. Or perhaps this indicates that the company has received early results and closed production, in which case the results could have been leaked, since no one else controls the secrecy.
But what is certain is that Samsung cannot yet become a direct competitor to Qualcomm's flagship processors. Well, let's wait a little longer to see what kind of processors will be in the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra. Let me remind you that recently there was an insight that Samsung is considered as a manufacturer for Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2. If this happens, then the need for Exynos 2600 will simply disappear - the company will receive favourable conditions for a more productive chip. The situation is developing quite interestingly.
