Meizu 22: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 5500 battery and very thin bezels
The Meizu 22 appeared in the official teaser with symmetrical bezels of just 1.2 mm on all sides - and this is on white panels, which are considered very difficult to manufacture. Meizu has been using a white front panel since the MX2. The company claims to have developed a proprietary LIPO process and six-layer finish to achieve this standard. Not just beautiful - but a challenge to manufacturing laws.
The diagonal of the display is not disclosed, but the photo shows that the smartphone is compact, which is also due to the minimal bezels.
Here's What We Know
The phone is expected to receive a Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version processor and a 5,500 mAh (typical) / 5,370 mAh (actual capacity) battery. The phone is likely to have ultra-wide-angle and telephoto cameras. According to preliminary information, the company will not release several flagship models, so no Pro versions are expected.
What was said earlier about Meizu 22
At MWC 2025, two models of Meizu Note 22 (the budget line) were shown next to the mysterious Meizu 22 - with an octagonal module with three cameras and a flash ring. The prototype was also made in Meizu's favourite white colour. The Digital Chat Station insider shared information that the camera unit contains three sensors + LED ring, and the body is noticeably different from Meizu 21 Pro.

When is the announcement?
The official launch is expected this summer, as DreamSmart management reported at a media event in China (Meizu 22 series is planned as a new flagship for the AI ecosystem, Flyme AIOS deep).
Conclusion.
Starting as a manufacturer of mp3 players, Meizu moved to phone production and achieved significant success. Unfortunately, the company was unable to ride the wave of popularity and quickly lost its position under the onslaught of such giants as Oppo and Vivo. We were sad to see the company teetering on the brink of bankruptcy and looking for investors. We would like to see this manufacturer finally get back on its feet, because we, as customers, have always benefited from increased competition, and Meizu is able to bring interesting innovations to the industry.
