Dying Light: The Beast will have no place for microtransactions: Techland studio will not repeat its own mistake
Most gamers have a very negative attitude towards microtransactions and other forms of additional monetisation in paid games, which in recent years have already become increasingly expensive.
Polish studio Techland had a great opportunity to make sure of this when 1.5 years after the release of Dying Light 2: Stay Human, they added premium currency to the zombie action game, which was spent on cosmetic items. But it was sold in such quantities that users had to overpay, and such a decision spoilt Techland's reputation, which at that time was already tarnished by the game's ambiguous quality.
The authors made a conclusion and will not repeat their mistake in Dying Light: The Beast.
Here's What We Know
Answering the subscribers' question, the head of Dying Light franchise Tymon Smektala confirmed that there will be no microtransactions in the new game, which was originally developed as a supplement to Dying Light 2.
Not planned.

By purchasing Dying Light: The Beast, gamers will get all the content without having to spend any extra money.
Earlier Smektala emphasised that The Beast should be seen as a complete new part of the series, which will not only fill in the gaps in the story of Carl Crane, but also give rise to further events and new storylines.
When We Can Expect It
The developers recently Zombie apocalypse delayed - in pursuit of perfection Techland has postponed the release of Dying Light: The Beast from 22 August to 19 September. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
