Android 16 on Vivo phones: when will it be released and list of devices
Usually, a new version of Android is released in October, and phones (except for Pixel) get the update at the end of the year. This year, Android 16 was released much earlier, so manufacturers have already started working on the update.
Vivo has not yet disclosed a specific official date. But last year, Vivo distinguished itself by releasing the Android 15 update before the Pixel did. And although Google has already rushed to update its phones this year, it is expected that Vivo will not wait long and the update will start to be sent to devices in the coming weeks. An indirect confirmation is that the Vivo X200 Pro and iQOO 13 phones have already received the Android 16 beta. Most likely, premium smartphones of the X line will be the first to receive the update, followed by mid-range (V, T lines), and then - whoever is lucky.
