Two hours of cool show: Gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live organiser promises a huge amount of high-profile news and flashy displays
Less than a month is left before the start of Europe's largest gaming exhibition, which annually attracts huge interest of the public.
Gamescom 2025 will start on the 20th of August and is traditionally preceded by a grand opening ceremony, which is organised and hosted by the famous showman Geoff Keighley. He masterfully heats up the interest of the public and periodically publishes reports about Opening Night Live.

In a fresh post Keighley confirmed that the opening show will again last two hours and during this time the audience will see a huge number of trailers, colourful screenings and unexpected announcements.

Gamers can expect high-profile news from some of the biggest gaming companies in the world, including Capcom, Nintendo, THQ Nordic, Ubisoft, Xbox and its internal studios, Konami, Bandai Namco, 2K Games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has been confirmed, demos and new content on Hollow Knight: Silksong and Borderlands 4 will be unveiled.
