Believe it or not: the events of the Black Myth Wukong add-on will unfold underwater, and its release will take place in August
On 20 August, Chinese studio Game Science will be celebrating one year since the release of the ultra-popular Black Myth action game Wukong, which sold more than 25 million copies in no time.
The game will finally be released on Xbox Series X|S on the same day, but it has long been rumoured that Wukong will also receive a major story add-on.
Here's What We Know
A gameplay video of what is claimed to be the first DLC for Black Myth Wukong has been published on Chinese social media and then on YouTube. The video is available in a terrible resolution, but it looks quite authentic and is interesting because the events of the add-on unfold underwater.
It is believed that DLC will be called Black Myth Wukong: Underwater, and its release will take place ... also on the 20th of August. It is not difficult to assume that the loud announcement will be made at the opening ceremony of gamescom 2025, where the audience is expected a grand two-hour show.
Of course, all these are just assumptions and leaks, but in general they look quite logical and consistent.
