Unexpected announcement: Hitman: Absolution will be released on iOS, Android, and both Nintendo Switches
Another game in the Hitman series is set to be ported to mobile devices and Nintendo Switch.
IO Interactive and Feral Interactive have already released similar re-releases of Hitman: Blood Money, and Hitman: World of Assassination is coming soon to iOS, but it's time for Hitman: Absolution as well.
Here's What We Know
Hitman: Absolution, the 2012 stealth action game for iOS, Android and both Nintendo Switch, has been announced on Nintendo Direct.
On mobile devices, the game will be released in autumn - the App Store lists the date as September 25. The Switch version is scheduled for release in late 2025, with the game planned for Switch 2 in 2026.
No details have yet been revealed about the Nintendo handheld version, while the mobile version is said to have developers adapting its controls for touchscreens and adding a host of tweaks to improve the user experience. Gamepad, keyboard and mouse support will also appear.
Hitman: Absolution pre-orders are already available in App Store and Google Play. The game is priced at $14.99/€12.49.
