MEDIA: OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra receives world's first 40W UFCS certification
According to Gizmochina, OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is the first smartphone to officially receive 40W UFCS (Universal Fast Charging Specification) certification. This is a new fast charging standard that makes the charging process more convenient and versatile for users.
Here's What We Know
With this certification, the phone supports third-party chargers that are compatible with the UFCS standard, in addition to OnePlus' proprietary 100W Super Flash Charge and Fusion Fast Charge technologies.
UFCS is an initiative of leading Chinese companies that aims to unify fast charging standards and make them consistent across brands and devices.
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is equipped with a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 50MP camera, and a 6700mAh battery. Thanks to 100W charging, the phone can be fully charged in less than 30 minutes.
The device was released in May 2025 in China.
