Honor 400 line will be expanded by budget phones Honor 400 Smart / X7d 5G
The Honor 400 Smart smartphone and its regional version, the Honor X7d 5G, have recently been listed on the Global Certification Forum platform. Both have the same model code LGN-NX1, which indicates that they are probably the same model with different names in different markets. This is the successor to the Honor 200 Smart model, released in September 2024. The manufacturer skipped the 300 Smart series, so the Honor 400 Smart becomes the logical successor to an affordable 5G smartphone.
What can we expect in advance?
The Honor 200 Smart had a 6.8″ FHD+ TFT screen with 120Hz, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 5,200 mAh battery with 35W charging, dual cameras of 50MP and 2MP, MagicOS 8 on Android 14, an in-screen scanner, and stereo speakers. It's logical to assume that the new Honor 400 Smart / X7d 5G will have a similar configuration, but on Android 15 or 16, with a more modern mid-range processor and a focus on stable 5G.
Global certification means that the smartphone will be widely available in many countries. Given its fairly simple specifications, we can expect an affordable price and good sales.
