At its own show THQ Nordic not only presented an Gothic 1 Remake will be released in early 2026 - THQ Nordic has released an atmospheric trailer and revealed its release date, but also made an announcement that will please fans of the famous RPG series.

The developer announced that the original Gothic trilogy will be available on consoles for the first time.
Gothic, Gothic II and Gothic 3 will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series in 2026 as remasters with adapted controls and minor graphical improvements.
THQ Nordic is clearly trying to popularise the popular franchise and expand its audience.
For the first time, Gothic 1, 2 and 3 will be available on consoles with updated controls and full gamepad support. Whether you're returning to Colonia, or discovering Myrtana for the first time, now is the time to (re)discover the world of Gothic.
