Capcom announced an unusual sci-fi action game Pragmata back in 2020, but only recently the developer began to reveal its details.

The authors took part in a major exhibition ChinaJoy 2025, where they held a lengthy demonstration of the ambitious game.

Here's What We Know

Thanks to the video from the exhibition, gamers can style, gameplay and basic mechanics of Pragmata. During the demonstration the game was presented in Chinese, but this does not prevent to appreciate the excellent graphics and pay attention to the non-standard control scheme of the game. The thing is that the player will control two characters at once - space engineer Hugh and cute girl-anroid Diana, they must join forces to get out of the lunar research station, which was captured by robots under the control of AI. Hugh wields a gun and can fight off the attacks of aggressive robots, while Diana is able to remotely hack them, and this mechanic is implemented as a small puzzle in real time, which does not interrupt the fight: thus, the player simultaneously shoots back and moves around the location, and performs hacking.

The main goal of Hugh and Diana will be to evacuate the station and return to Earth, but humanity has done everything possible to hide the incident that occurred on the moon, and does not want the return of the androids, which is what, let's recall, is Diana.

When We Can Expect It

Pragmata is expected to be released as early as 2026. The game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
