On Friday 1st August THQ Nordic and Grimlore Games studio released Titan Quest II in Early Access on Epic Games Store and Steam.

Gamers have been waiting for the sequel of the cult isometric action-RPG of 2006 for a long time, and according to the results of reviews for the first weekend, it can be noted that the game fully justified their expectations.

Here's What We Know

Titan Quest II received 83% positive reviews (the assessment is based on almost 5000 reviews), and its peak online exceeded 27 thousand people.

Some mechanics of the game, such as the character development system, turned out to be ambiguous and are criticised by players, but in general the novelty pleased both fans of the first part and fans of games of similar genre.

Titan Quest 2 has excellent graphics, beautiful art-design, a huge number of mythological creatures, atmospheric music and exciting gameplay.

Yes, the game has a limited amount of content and not all mechanics are presented, because of which Titan Quest II can't compare with such giants of the genre as Path of Exile or Diablo IV, but the developers warned that in the early version they will not implement all ideas, but they promise to release major updates regularly.

To briefly summarise all of the above, Titan Quest 2 is (so far) a non-ideal game with a lot of potential.

As a reminder, in Titan Quest II players will once again visit Ancient Greece, filled with various mythological creatures, and the main antagonist this time will be the goddess of retribution Nemesis, who seeks to break the Threads of Fate and throw the whole world into chaos.

In Titan Quest II players, as well as in the first part, can freely combine the abilities of any two classes and use different types of weapons. Swords, axes, spears and other weapons will have three subspecies: light, medium and heavy, and this will significantly affect their use.
