Aurzen has unveiled BOOM Air, a tiny but technologically rich projector with a spotlight shape, built-in Dolby audio and full Google TV support. The novelty, presented on 4 August, is already available on the manufacturer's website and on Amazon at a price of $299.99.

Here's What We Know

The main idea of the device is maximum simplicity: everything in one case, without wires, speakers and tripods. BOOM Air is equipped with a 110° swivelling base, which allows you to project an image on the wall or on the ceiling. There's no need to put books underneath or find a flat surface.

A built-in 10W speaker with Dolby Audio replaces external speakers, delivering big, clear sound straight out of the projector body. Meanwhile, real Full HD resolution and 300 ANSI lumens brightness make it suitable for both home cinema sessions and presentations.

Autofocus based on ToF-sensor and automatic trapezoid correction (both vertically and horizontally) eliminates the need to manually adjust the picture. Just switch it on and the device will adjust itself to the surface.

Working with Google TV gives you access to over 10,000 apps, including Netflix, YouTube, Disney+ and more. And then there's voice control via Google Assistant.

And yes, the BOOM Air runs off a regular powerbank via USB-C (65W power source recommended). The format and autonomy allows you to use it not only at home, but also on the road or outdoors.
