Meta continues to develop the popular messenger WhatsApp and will soon add another useful option that will expand the number of potential users of the application.

Here's What We Know

In the code of the new beta version of WhatsApp for Android, a mention of "guest" chats was found. This feature will allow you to communicate without having an account in the messenger.

Registered users will be able to invite their contacts to voice chat by sending them a corresponding link. When clicking on it, a person gets access to online chat, in which only text messages are available - without the ability to exchange media files and send voice and video messages. Importantly, you won't be able to create a group chat either.

Meta has not yet announced "guest" chats in WhatsApp, but their mention in the software code clearly indicates that such an option is coming soon.
