Over the past week, there have been significant changes in the Steam sales chart due to the release of several high-profile new products and the presentation of a long-awaited game that is attracting a lot of attention.

Here's What We Know

The most profitable paid game of the week was the survival simulator Grounded 2. The new game from Obsidian Entertainment is criticised for not the best technical condition, but this does not prevent it from enjoying great popularity.

The large-scale presentation of Battlefield 6 multiplayer modes convinced many gamers in the quality of the new shooter and tens of thousands of gamers willingly pre-ordered, which brought Battlefield 6 to the second line of the chart.

Fourth place went to another new game, Titan Quest II, which sold over 300,000 copies in just 72 hours.

The unusual network game Mage Arena debuted in eighth place and attracts attention with its unusual concept - in it you need to give voice commands to use magic spells.

The complete list of the ten most profitable paid Steam titles from 29 July to 5 August looks like this:

  1. Grounded 2
  2. Battlefield 6
  3. Steam Deck
  4. Titan Quest II
  5. Dead by Daylight
  6. PEAK
  7. Ready or Not
  8. Mage Arena
  9. Tales of the Shire
  10. Cyberpunk 2077

The most profitable free-to-play games of the week were Counter-Strike 2, PUBG and Umamusume: Pretty Derby.
