Nintendo invites you to the new edition of the Indie World Showcase
The Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase took place last week - it was mostly focused on big-budget third-party games coming to Switch or Switch 2. However, Nintendo has announced another showcase for tomorrow - 7 August.
Here's What We Know
The Japanese company will host a new edition of the Indie World Showcase. As always, the broadcast will focus exclusively on games from independent developers and small studios.
Join us this Thursday, August 7 at 6am PT for a new #IndieWorld Showcase! Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Of course, gamers are expecting to see new footage of Hollow Knight: Silksong at the presentation, but there's a 99 per cent chance that won't happen (again) as the game will be extensively showcased at the Xbox booth at gamescom 2025.
The Indie World Showcase will take place at 3pm (CEST) on 7 August and will be streamed on Nintendo's Twitch and YouTube channels. The show will last around 15 minutes.
