Gemini "Storybook" - a personalised AI storybook with illustrations and voiceover
Google has announced a new feature in its AI chat bot Gemini called "Storybook" that allows you to create personalised illustrated books for children. Just describe the desired plot and Gemini will generate a 10-page story with text and images, as well as voice it.
Here's What We Know
Users can customise the format of the illustrations, choosing, for example, comic book style, plasticine animation or anime. There is also the option to upload your child's own photos or drawings to breathe life into the story.
The feature is available on mobile and desktop platforms in over 45 languages. While most of the generated stories meet expectations, some users have noticed oddities such as fish with human limbs or ridiculous illustrations. Nevertheless, Storybook breaks new ground for creative interaction with children and learning through storytelling.
